Utterly confused about this chemistry question?

Im actually quite sure the last response is correct, "the reaction goes to the left, Q>K". look at your molar equvalents here, if you have .150 mol of each reactant, that would yield .300 mol of product, but your reaction vessel has .600 mol of product. Therefore, Q (products over reactants) is greater than K, and the reaction proceedes to the left, producing hydrogen gas and whatever halogen "X" stands for.
