Brain teaser?

three men go into a motel. the man up front says that the room is $30 so each man payed $10 and went up to the room. the man up front soon realized the room was only $25 so he sent the bellboy up with $5 the bellboy couldn't figure out how to split the money evenly so he gave each man $1 and kept the other $2 for himself. that means that each man payed $9 and 9 times 3 = 27 plus the other $2 that the bellboy kept for himself which is $29. Where is the other dollar? Help i cant figure this out.!!
