Did "Drew Peterson" confess to murder?

I know he was arrested but I don't believe he has confessed. They must have some concrete evidence if they're indicting him. I also heard that when he was being led to court in shackles he said "What about this bling? Look at this bling. Three squares a day in this spiffy outfit. How can you beat that? Look at this bling. My God. " He seems like an arrogant sociopath joking and making flippant remarks when you've been arrested on suspicion of murder.
