I need help for a Board Design?

I am working on an exhibit for National History Day and i need help decorating my board and how to layout my work. My Topic is The Pentagon Papers. First i need to choose my colors. Which colors do you perfer? Black, white, and, gold or blue(like the one on the pentagon website), white, and gold? Ideas that i have already are at the top of my board to d gold fabric across the top and at the bottom of the board i made 3 steps into the shape of a pentagon and on the top step im going to add a short dvd video. Any ideas please???? Thank you!
