Impact of ozone from packaging industry(tetrapak)?

Tetra is in use since 1951 and all of them are made up of non biodegradable product wholly or partially.These packs are generally considered as throw away packets which can be thrown away after a single use.These packs were being burnt in incinerators which generated CO2 which was harmful to the ozone layer.Therefore the packaging induustries are trying to redesign the packs which are enviroment friendly and can be recycled too.
