Trouble on my PC with System Restore, please help?

I currently have a virus on my computer and sadly nothing has worked to get it off. So now in desperation I have decided to do a system restore. I clicked it, and low and behold a little box apeared- "System Restore has been turned of by group policy blah blah blah." I NEED my computer to work, and I feel like ive tried everything to fix this but you guys. So please, help!
