Any idea why I my indash sirius satelite radio would skip over channels that should be there?

I have a factory installed Sirius Satellite radio in my Jeep and for about the last three weeks my radio has been acting funny. I am constantly losing certain stations, when I mean losing I don't mean just lost Satellite reception, i mean my radio does not acknowledge that they are even there. It gets to channel 28 and then one more click goes to 38. I know there are 6 channels in there that i used to get now i don't. So far the only solution I have found is to resend a communication signal from Sirius to the radio. It re updates all the channels and I get them all back. When i turn off my car and turn it back on, they are once again missing. Any one out there experiencing this or have any idea why this is happening? Thanks
